TEDxFultonStreet: Denny Daniel
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. What do Edison's original recording device, a parachute for pigeons, and a candle-powered lantern have in common? (For that matter, why do birds need parachutes at all?) Denny answers these questions and more, by demonstrating technological artifacts from a bygone era, for our amusement and enlightenment. As he says to the children and adults he educates, "Don't ever let anyone make things seem too complicated."
